Is the electronic cigarette safe?
The e-cigarette contains water, propylene glycol, nicotine, a scent that emulates a tobacco flavour and a membrane to suspend the ingredients. The e-cigarette has been extensively tested and the cartridges have been toxicologicaly tested. None of the ingredients are considered cancer-causing agents. The product also holds CE & RoHS certifications. Compared to traditional cigarettes and cigars, the e-cigarette is infinitely safer.

Propylene Glycol is a food additive found in many foods we eat today. It is used in food colouring, flavouring and also used to keep food, medicines and cosmetics moist. It is considered as generally safe and it is the element in our product that helps to create the vapour that simulates smoke.

What is a cartridge?
The e-cigarette cartridge contains the nicotine dilution. It comes in various strengths: high, medium, low and zero nicotine. The cartridges come in a standard flavour which is Mildboro, but we also offer a range of different flavours such as menthol, Cherry and many more.

How long does a cartridge last?
A cartridge lasts between 30 – 50 inhalations(About 2 - 5 Cigarettes), depending on the inhalation size used. Estimating that one cigarette would equal to about 15 inhalations.

Can I inhale too much nicotine?
If you inhale for more than 5 seconds the device will flash 5 times to warn you, when you have inhaled 15 times the device light will flash 5 times to warn you. 15 inhalations is equivalent to one normal cigarette.

What is the smoke that is released?
The vapour like smoke that is released is simply condensation that evaporates into the air within seconds, similar to the functioning of a humidifier. The electronic-cigarette leaves no visual residue in the air, where traditional smoking can leave an unsightly, acrid cloud known to irritate eyes and bother people’s senses.

What does it taste like?
The taste of the e-cigarette resembles that of tobacco, but feels much smoother and cleaner as there are none of the impurities associated with real tobacco.

Can the e-cigarette be used anywhere?
The electronic-cigarette does not release smoke but a harmless vapour so it can be used in public areas, restaurants and offices where smoking is prohibited; however do not be surprised when people ask about you smoking the electronic-cigarette. To the casual observer, using the device creates the appearance of traditional smoking. Users report that simply explaining to others how it works, usually creates acceptance for using the product anywhere. It is always good practice to establish whether the owner of the building or business will allow e-smoking in their building.

Can anyone use the device?
NO, the device may not be sold to those under 18. It is not intended to be used by pregnant or lactating women and those that are sensitive to nicotine. It is also not intended for those that do not smoke.

How do I turn the e-cigarette on?
There is no on or off switch on the e-cigarette it is automatic, the device activates when the user draws on the electronic-cigarette and switches off when not in use.

How long does the battery last?
The battery will last approximately 10 -12 cigarettes, a spare battery is provided for in the starter pack and extra batteries can be ordered from us should you require it.

How long does it take to charge the battery?
Initial charging takes 8hrs thereafter charging takes 3 to 4 hours. We suggest you allow the battery to charge for 8 hrs even though the battery will charge before that, it seems to last longer by charging it for 3 – 4 hours after the initial first charge.

What are the main reasons for using e-cigarettes?
Most people who smoke do so because they enjoy the tactile, emotional and physical sensations. The electronic cigarette provides all those same pleasures, but without all the problems commonly associated with traditional smoking.
